THE ANNUAL AFTER CHRISTMAS PARTY PARTY (THE LAST)

Last December 18, we had our Christmas party/family day at Beda. It was the first ever family day for the fourth year. The program was held in the gym and thank God it wasn't that hot. To be honest, I bet at least half of the parents wouldn't have gone to this event if it wasn't for the extra grade. The program and games were okay. All the career tracls had to show a short presentation which we only prepared the day before. For my career track, we did the 9 talents of Christmas. One talent per letter. My Section got C and S which we made into cheering and stageplay. I didn't really do anything except clap and chant. Arts won because even though it kind of sucked, it was different from the other career tracks haha.

TO THE GOOD PART. Ever since 2nd year, the gala after Christmas party was always fun. 2nd year was mostly awkward though. This was when me and Viola kind of officially became friends. We met that day because of Julia and then Julia and the others left me and Viola alone. That was super awkward to the highest levels and we went around town for hours looking at stuff and agreeing on everything.

Last year was really really fun. We headed to Jamba Juice without remembering the fact that we spent our after Christmas party there too. When we got there, most of our batchmates were there too. Bedan invasion as usual HAHA.

Me, Kimi and Viola bought Starbucks and hang out at Jamba.

Look at that kid in the picture. He was taking photos of himself and he was cute and we laughed not at him, but about him and he got mad and pointed to one of my friends. HAAHHAA.

With Kyle, one of the best guitarists and singers I know personally.

After going around, everyone started going home. That's when me, Viola and Neil met up with Monica, Kate and Merwin.

And finally, just dance!!!!

I swear we played for 30 minutes, took a break then played 30 minutes again then moved upstairs to shoot some balls. HAHAH. We left town at quarter to 9. Spent the whole freaking day at town.

IS BUTTER A CARB?

Here we go again with another late post from yours truly. Now that I've got all the time in the world, I can blog my heart out with things that's been going on in my life.

Another thing has been checked off my bucketlist, go on a fun run with friends! (Also, I just wanted to mention that this was the very sporty athletic weekend for me because Friday, we had training then the Takbonifacio on Saturday and theeen, a game the next day. Go legs.)

It wasn't a run with friends though. Because at the start, Viola went ahead without all of us. Hahaha. Then in the middle, I went ahead and Kate caught up with me. So it was just me and Kate together forever. Literally.

pap shots are a must

no shame
We had three lives, three different colored flaglets tied around our waist for the gwardya sibil to get. They aren't really flaglets, but they were. Kind of. They weren't in a triangle shape, but they were flaglets. ALL MY FLAGLETS GOT CAUGHT AND I WAS THE ONLY DEAD PLAYER OUT OF MY FRIENDS AT THE FINISH LINE. (This is because they hid theirs and I didn't. Fair nigga.)

Kate - Fiona - Viola - Me - Diana
One of the highlights of the evening was the street dancer guy dancing to Viola. We were passing by but then decided to stay and watch him when he spotted Viola and did a woah gesture and then a wait gesture. We assumed he was looking for music to dance to for Viola but he took really long. It was a good thing he finally played a song and danced to it before we left.

Me: Kuya, papicture po.
Kuya: Sige. *poses and smiles*
Me: um.. hahhahaha
Kuya: Ay hindi ba? Sorry sorry hahahaha
*me and friends get picture taken*
Me: kuya, pictue!!!
*picture*
I know this looks very awkward, but it wasn't. Hooray for nice strangers.

After going around bgc and getting annoyed because we didn't know where to eat or stay, we ended up at Starbucks. The Starbucks in Fully Booked. (Yay.) And that's where most of the night's highlights were. I felt very happy because I had butterbeer. Good drinks and good company. We were the noisiest group of people there due to a lot of unexpected happenings and sayings.

More Highlights:
Fiona's lip bleeding
Kate's "Is this a carb or is this a carb?"
Discovering Viola's Starbucks goddesss
Creative shots
Butterbeer

More unexpected happenings: Kate ended up sleeping over at my place and we went through all my memory boxes and pictures and it was a night of shame for me. The following day, Kate ended up watching our game at Ateneo. I told you. Inseperable. Literally. Can't wait for her to move closer to me. Teehee.

K O L E K S Y O N

Hooray. It's one of those chill days in Beda where you just...chill and laugh in jeans and your color coded shirt. When I arrived at Beda, Dimps and Kate were playing ketchup and I had Kate's camera and so:

Okay. Under the scarf is a tray. A tray of lumpiang shanghai. You're probably wondering why I took a picture of that. That tray/case/container of lumpiang shanghai doesn't belong to any of my friends. It was simply sitting on the bench by itself. No one seemed to be watchig over it and there was a small opening on the side and....... my friends got 2-3 pieces. HAHAHAHAHAHAH I'm sorry whoever who owns that. Please forgive us. It was food to share anyway.

My classmates preparing for our boodle fight!

Jaime blocking my shot of IV-11 getting into our room because we had to unite sections for awhile because their room was being used by the models.

I think that's Valerie from the third year dancing ballet. Wee.
Ivan Laput opening our set (set? lol)

The flame went out so hahahaha
SENIO-
-RITOS.
How cool it would have been if I got the whole word. The nice shot didn't even form the senior. (; ̄д ̄)

That was the last good shot I got before Kate's camera died. This was a competition with the other batches and guess who won? Us, the seniors! Not bragging or anything, there wasn't any competition to begin with. We were the only batch who made everything extravagant with the chants and changing into the black shirt. So... No thrill for us. Maybe this isn't important to the other batches that's why they didn't prepare as much as we did... Well, it doesn't really matter. It's gonna matter during the batch cheering week though.

And finally, I'm done with this post. I thought about not posting this anymore since the koleksyon happened 2 months ago but I thought, what about the pictures??? So here is a late post.

Love, love, love

the good keeps getting better

I'm going to start with Friday. bazookarocksph on twitter held a contest where you have to tweet what you want to whisper into your favorite band member's ear given the chance with the hashtag #BazookaRocks2AtSMX and whoever gets retweeted wins a ticket. So I went all out thinking of everything I wanted to say. I even went to pick up line accounts because maybe tweeting tagalog banats won't be counted. (But they were counted.) An hour before the contest ended, I GOT RETWEETED and out of all of what I tweeted, they retweeted "Junior is waiting at home!!!!" HAHAHA so corny but at least I get to go to Bazooka Rocks for free. Then, another miracle happened. One of my friends, Monica, also got retweeted! Guess what she did. She decided to give it to Audrie. Thank God for nice people.

Saturday morning, Audrie called saying her dad finally allowed her to BRF. Everything turned alright in the end after all.

- - SKIPS TO BRF - -

Just like last year, I arrived at SMX after lunch. I missed RadioDriveBy's set which really sucks because I wanted to hear them live. At least I caught them at the merch booth signing things. Me and Audrie explored the place and we wanted to ride one of those moving animals but they were always occupied by other people.

Tonight Alive started their set and I'm not a fan but they sound really good. Jenna's voice was beautiful.

And here's a photo off people enjoying a mosh pit.
I'm not a fan of We Came As Romans but they were great live. They had loads of energy and I enjoyed singing to Glad You Came!
Josh Burke from Red Jumpsuit Apparatus!

During Anberlin's set, me and Audrie were one layer of people away from the barrier and there were these girls who had their butts stuck out. It was very annoying because there are already a hundred people surrounding us and these girls didn't have the consideration to stand up properly. What sucks more was they were sleeping/napping through Anberlin's set! How rude. So what if they weren't fans? They could've had the respect to at least stand up properly and not sleep in front of the band. Me, Audrie and other people started getting really pissed and well...

woops

After Anberlin's set they set up the white curtain that covered the stage and me and Audrie freaked out because it felt like Straight To DVD and yes we freaked out very much. And you can see the white sheet dropping in the second photo. It was a glorious thing to experience.

There are so many things wrong with this shot but let's all ignore it simply because it says "All Time Low"
CAN'T BELIEVE I WAS THE ONE WHO TOOK THIS. I CAN'T BELIEVE I SAW THEM LIVE.

In the videos I took, I could see bras trying to make their ways on to stage. They looked like jumping fish and it was cool. Warning, Jack Barakat photo spam because he was the only one I got decent pictures of since he kept coming to our side. I am sad because I wasn't able to see Rian up close.

I cried through the first 3-4 songs of their set. I cried really, really, really hard. Especially during the first song, Lost In Stereo. My emotions were overflowing and I felt so happy and overwhelmed. I kept thinking, "Wow. This is it. This is All Time Low. Live. I'm hearing them. Live. They're moving in front of me. Not on a screen. Alex's voice live is perfect. This is perfect. I don't know what to feel." Then insert me screaming inside my head and outside. Also, I could hear myself crying while singing and shouting in my videos... No regrets

Alex, performing Remembering Sunday alone. I've been listening to this since I was a freshman and hearing it live... asjhaskdha no words
Alex, letting us sing a part of the song.
I still get giddy whenever I remember Alex letting us sing the rest of the line or verse then saying we sound amazing. I'm pretty sure I went on about that for 5 days after brf. I felt so happy and perfect when I sang along with the crowd and I felt everyone's emotions and just... I have many feels about those kinds of moments.

Look it's Nick Santino.

A Rocket To The Moon was up next and I felt so nervous and excited and sad at the same time. Audrie left to go to the merch table for All Time Low and I decided to stay where I was because we were already at the barrier and I refused to lose such a good spot. Before ARTTM started playing, Audrie called me. She was already in their car, on the way home because her dad made her leave already. She was really upset and I wish she was able to finish it with me.

I didn't get a lot of photos though. Just videos.Their first song was my favorite song, If Only They Knew and I wanted to cry then but I couldn't...yet. During On Your Side, I felt like I was about to cry but then.... the bouncer in front laughed at me. Like point and laugh. I got really pissed and didn't end up crying but I soon forgot about that because my mother started flooding me with messages to go out and not finish ARTTM anymore. She brought  my tito along to pick me up so I had to give in. I started crying when before leaving the barrier and cried through the crowd. I kept crying the whole way home and continued crying even at home because it hurts. They're breaking up and I didn't finish their set. I wasn't even able to meet them or thank them for everything they've done for me. I made it till Going Out and that's that. I will forever regret not finishing A Rocket To The Moon's last show in Manila.

BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT. The 8123 tour is coming to Manila in January 2014! That meThe Maine, This Century, Brighten and.. A Rocket To The Moon. I'm not sure which bands are going. I hope they all go. (Also A Rocket To The Moon.) (They can have their very, very, very final show again here.)
